I know you joined this Chamber for your own individual and particular reason, the common denominator of all Members however, is to increase your bottom line.  Some join to connect with other business people, others to support the business community in which they live or work, some gain professional development or appreciate the advocacy, and many want the marketing exposure in our publication and on the website.  That last one is the giant that every Member gains whether they seek it or not.  Since Maclyn Group redeveloped (and graciously donated) our website two years ago, we’ve doubled the number of visitors!  In the first quarter 2011, downersgrove.org welcomed close to a million visitors (955,764); Members received an average of 1,386 listing views – that’s 300,000 more visitors than the previous three months and almost 600 more viewings for each member.  The Google rating of downersgrove.org is 81%.   That means that downersgrove.org is 81% better than other websites in terms of marketing effectiveness!

Downersgrove.org success is your success – since we provide every Member a link to their own website, your search engine optimization is increased.  For those who track their referrals in the Members only section, you know how many people found your business using the map tool, you can see the numbers who viewed or clicked on your banner ad.  Did you know that every renewing Member receives a FREE banner ad for three months (and we make it very easy for you to take advantage of this benefit, just call Lauren).  Also in this section, you can post a coupon, sign up for an event, get your referral report, post a job, and more!
